Our local schools are in need of mentors for students. If you are interested, please contact the office to find out how to complete the background check and sign up to serve.
High School Homeless Student Population
Among other negative consequences, children who experience homelessness have lower high school graduation rates and higher rates of chronic absenteeism, which can lead to weaker academic performance. And not graduating from high school puts young people at greater risk of becoming homeless.
