40 Days Closer to Jesus
Join our online community created specifically for this Lenten season. Group meetings for discussion on Zoom will be Wednesdays 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25, and 4/1 from 12-12:30PM. The season of Lent (40 days plus Sundays before Easter) has traditionally been a time to look deeply into our life and discover ways Jesus is calling us to take steps closer to Him. What is your next step in faith? Where is the next area of growth for you? During this season, we will walk with each other to discover divine purpose and life-transforming growth!
Easter Service
You’re invited to a joyful Easter celebration at Pleasant Hill! Join us this Sunday as we come together to celebrate the amazing gift of Jesus and the hope of new beginnings.
Bring family, friends, and your Sunday best for a day filled with uplifting worship and heartwarming fellowship. Let’s make Easter unforgettable as we rejoice in His love and grace!
Game Night
Gather your friends and bring someone new for an evening filled with fun, laughter, and friendly competition. Whether you’re a board game buff or a card shark, there’s something for everyone! And… did we mention Mahjong?!
Wednesday Night Potluck
Join us for our Wednesday Night Potluck—a delightful way to unwind and connect with community! Bring a dish to share, whether it’s a family favorite or a new recipe you’re excited to try. This gathering is perfect for all. And, if you don’t have time to bring or pick up a dish, please come! The table is always open, and there is more than enough to share!
4th of July Celebration
Join us for a fabulous Fourth of July celebration at Pleasant Hill! We invite you and your family to enjoy an evening filled with delicious food, engaging community, and breathtaking fireworks. Experience the joy of togetherness as we honor our nation’s independence in a festive atmosphere. Get excited about the amazing music of the Praise Band and run don’t walk to the cars on dessert alley! You will not want to miss this event!
Rainforest Falls VBS
We are so excited for VBS 2026 - Rainforest Falls! Designed by Group Publishing, this VBS is an immersive, nature-themed program where children explore the “nature” of God through a lush, tropical jungle setting. It features four nights of lessons focused on God as creator, protector, and guide.
We hope to see your kids and their friends there! We also hope to see YOU! We need many helpers to execute this event, so please consider volunteering!

Bring a dish or just yourselves for an opportunity to picnic and play with our community of faith.
Chili/Soup Cook Off
Get those old family recipes or your latest chili spice blend ready for a fun Pleasant Hill tradition where everyone walks away a winner. Contact the Family Life Community to volunteer to bring a chili or soup or to help with set up or clean up.
Fall Fest
Always held the Sunday before Halloween, Fall Fest was previously known as Trunk or Treat! This year the event is back and will also include carnival style games, a bounce house, and face painting! Come enjoy the fellowship and enjoy celebrating this fun fall season. All are welcome!
Thanksgiving Dinner
Bring a side dish or dessert and enjoy a full Thanksgiving meal with all of the fixings with our church family.
Christmas Eve Service
Join us for a beautiful candlelight service on Christmas Eve to celebrate the coming of the birth of Jesus. You will see people in jeans and those more dressed up. All are welcome!
Women's Day Retreat "Camp Wilderness"
Enjoy a time for spiritual growth, community building, and fellowship at Bridgeway’s beautiful Camp Fletcher in McCalla, Alabama, only a few miles from Pleasant Hill’s campus. This event is not located at the church. Friday night, March 6th there is an optional campfire for s’mores roasting, games, and relaxed conversation. Saturday, March 7th is the main programming with speakers Pastor Amy DeWitte and Pastor Monica Harbarger. Saturday will also make space for relaxation, gentle wildness walking, crafting, and learning Mahjong. All are welcome! Lunch on Saturday will be provided. Registration cost is $30. Transportation is provided to all aspects of event if you would like to meet at the church or have someone collect you from your home!
